Social Skills Coaching
Children are taught to stand up for themselves in positive ways, encouraged to advocate for themselves, and to reach out to others in order to build and sustain friendships.
Children who have experienced bullying will learn to feel empowered and feel more confident in social situations.
We believe it is important that children feel understood and have the opportunity to develop new tools to improve social health and increase self confidence.
Children will learn to better understand emotions by exploring cognitive behavioral strategies for calming down, perceiving others more accurately, and standing up for themselves in difficult social or bullying situations at school.
Children will share their feelings and concerns and learn to use their skills in a variety of settings.

We offer social skills coaching for children who have been bullied, have anxiety, learning disabilities, and difficulties socially. Children who are gifted often have their own unique challenges. We have a specialized approach for them.
